Description

In 1625, in Rome, Mary prayed fervently to Our Lord hidden in the Blessed Sacrament in the Church of San Girolamo della Carita. She most humbly implored God to teach her how her sufferings might be borne most profitably. She heard an interior voice, yet quite distinct, telling her that she would afford God the greatest pleasure if she bore her trials joyfully.
