Description

In 1619 when Mary was meditating on the Call of the Apostles, she perceived that they had no resting place in anything of this world but were entirely at their Divine Master's disposal. This knowledge aroused in her a renewed desire to attain perfect self-denial. Suddenly she experienced a feeling of complete liberty and detachment from earthly things, from the world and from created things.
